Controlled AI adoption
AI is entering your organisation right now — engineer by engineer, tool by tool, with or without a plan. We make the entry deliberate: the wins get kept, the risks get governed, and your team ends up in control.
The three doors AI enters through
Every AI programme we have seen arrives through one of three doors. Each needs a different discipline. Naming your door is the first hour of our work.
New systems
AI in the delivery pipeline from day one: generation behind gates, humans at the boundaries, evaluation wired in before the first line ships.
Existing estates
Archaeology before generation. The codebase is studied, mapped and contracted before anything touches it — the system you have is the one that must keep working.
The back door
AI already arrived, engineer by engineer. Consolidate the wins, govern the risks, keep the momentum. Banning it drives it underground; we make it visible instead.
Gates over vibes
Every generation step sits behind a check: evaluation suites that must pass, audit trails that must exist, human review where the stakes are real. Agents exchange structured, validated outputs — not free-form handshakes, which are where systems rot. Progress is measured on evidence, not enthusiasm. A change ships when the evidence says so, not when someone likes the prose.
Capability transfer as the deliverable
Our engagements end with your team operating the system without us: the pipeline, the evaluation harness, the runbooks, the judgment. Dependency is a failure mode, not a business model. Handover is not the last slide of the deck — it is the acceptance criterion.
Framework alignment, honestly stated
Our governance approach aligns with recognised AI-management frameworks: the ISO/IEC 42001 management-system family and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework's govern–map–measure–manage functions. Aligned, not certified — we claim alignment where it exists and certifications where we hold them. Where a programme needs certified partners at scale, we bring delivery partners whose certificates are theirs and whose work we stand beside.
Strategic advisory
Before any build: where AI creates value versus risk in yourcontext. Build / buy / host decisions. Sovereignty and IP-protection assessments. Supply-chain scrutiny of the AI stack itself — what you actually ingest when you pull in the popular frameworks (we wrote one such analysis; see the essays).
